The Southeast Asia Stigma Reduction QI Learning Network (QIS+D) was launched in 2017 by UCSF-HEALTHQUAL, headquartered in the Institute for Global Health Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco. The Learning Network aims to accelerate the implementation of national- and facility-level HIV-related S+D reduction activities in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam through routine measurement, quality improvement (QI) methods, and peer learning and knowledge exchange.
QIS+D STIGMA-FREE STANDARD FOR HEALTHCARE SERVICE DELIVERY RELEASED
We are delighted to share with you the QIS+D STIGMA-FREE STANDARD FOR HEALTHCARE SERVICE DELIVERY. This standard was developed at the QIS+D Co-Creation Meeting (16th) convened in Kuala Lumpur in November, 2025. The group prioritized the components of a stigma-free standard from which this final version was developed. We want to express our gratitude to all of the participants at the meeting, and especially thank Tung Doan, Dr. Nittaya Phanupak, Rena Janamnuaysook, Polin Ung and Rayner Tan (in no deliberate order) for their collaboration in shepherding the final version to its completion.
